スキーマを変えると、データはどうなりますか。
フィールドの追加のような安全な変更は、自動でマイグレーションされます。Orbit がデータを削除することはなく、削除するような変更は止めます。記録はすべてのデプロイを生き延びます。
このデータベースは模擬のものですか。
いいえ。どのアプリにも、テーブル、インデックス、セキュリティ、API を備えた専用の Postgres データベースが付きます。データは残り、スキーマはいつでも読めます。
アプリのデータはどこにありますか。
アプリ専用の Postgres データベースの中で、ほかのすべてのアプリから隔離されています。読むことも問い合わせることもでき、どの行を誰が見られるかはデータベース自身が判断します。
利用者はデータを検索できますか。
はい。どのテーブルでも全文検索を有効にできます。データベースに組み込まれているので、検索ボックスは順位付きの結果を返し、追加で動かすサービスはありません。
