Before you decide
You have code today, and on Orbit you will not
Lovable gives you a repo you own, which matters. Orbit works differently: we run the app for you, so there is no source-code download in the product. If you need the code or a repository for a client, ask and we set it up by hand. If owning the code from day one matters more than avoiding maintenance, Lovable is the better fit. No one has moved an app this way yet, so you would be first, and I would rather you knew that now.

What do you need from Lovable?
The GitHub repo Lovable syncs to. Connect GitHub from your Lovable project, then give us access to the repository it creates.
Do I keep my Lovable project?
Yes. Nothing we do touches it. Your Lovable project and its repo stay exactly as they are, and you decide when to stop paying for them.
What happens to my Supabase data?
Your tables become an Orbit data model on Postgres. Whether the records travel with them is something we scope with you, since it depends on how much live data you carry.
Is my app ported or rebuilt?
Rebuilt. Orbit runs an app from a description of it rather than a React codebase, so we map your screens, tables, and functions onto Orbit's parts instead of lifting the code across.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Orbit's agents do the building, so the rebuild costs us hours rather than weeks, and we take one app at a time.
